Chase has certainly done us proud, being highly
placed in all of his Championship shows. He
also has numerous Best Puppy In Breed and Group
placings at Open show level. Showing excellent
colour and type but most of all his temperament
is superb. Chase is now owned by our good friends
Elif & Steve Bell and is to continue his
most successful show career.
Chase had a marvellous 2006. Moving into Limit
Class he certainly held his own. At Midland
Counties Ch. Show he did his owners proud by
winning his class earning his Stud Book Number.

"After doing lots of research into dog
breeds, I short listed a few that I thought
would be the right breed for us, I then researched
breeders and when I came across Danti Akitas,
I was very impressed by the information on their
web site and the beauty of their dogs so decided
to give them a call. The rest was history as
after speaking to Karen and visiting them, we
decided immediately that Akita was the only
breed for us and Danti were the right breeders.
Karen and Steve spent a long time with us that
day and told us about all the pros and cons
of the breed and answered all our questions,
I couldn’t believe they spent a large
portion of their Saturday talking to us for
nothing in return. Since the first time we’ve
been in touch they’ve been brilliant,
answering everything and being there for us
all the time. We originally intended to have
a pup from Danti however fortunately one wasn’t
available from the planned litter. Yes, I said
fortunately as I managed to convince Karen to
give us Chase who is the most gorgeous and lovable
dog ever but most of all he is an Akita with
the perfect attitude. Chase adapted living with
us very quickly and I can’t imagine life
without him. He is so easy going, if we want
to play he plays, if we want him to settle down
he does it and he learns very fast too. He likes
going to long walks but we can never walk without
being interrupted as people always approach
to say how gorgeous or handsome he is, which
makes me really proud. He has such a good character
for a big dog that our vet thinks he is not
normal as she has to muzzle most of the big
dogs before they let her examine them. He is
like a big cuddly cute bear that loves hugs
and belly rubs.
All I can say is a big thank you to Karen and
Steve for breeding such a lovely dog and then
letting us have him. We’ve been lucky
to have found you and Chase. You’ll be
friends for life."

Judges report: Probably the most satisfactory
class with an abundance of Akita quality on view. 1st
Danti’s
Chasing Dreams, mature dog who really fills the eye
and stood out in this line up, encompassing all that
is Akita without the slightest exaggeration. Shows
a harmonious balance between size & substance standing
on good bone, presented in the best of condition with
a coat plush & stand off, his body is soundly constructed,
presenting a height to length ratio so pleasing to
the eye being well ribbed to a strong loin set between
a firm topline & complementary underline, presented
in a hard condition with conformation expressing power & strength,
his angulations are excellent, presenting strong quarters & exceptional
width of thigh on sound positive hocks, well set croup & excellent
tailset complete the picture when posed. Just as impressive
on the moving showing an easy free flowing gait.

this red and white dog. Possesses a head of quality,
width and strength in skull, beautiful eyes, ears and
expression, lovely shoulders and ribcage with a well
set and carried tail. He has bags of bone; neat feet
and again his coat presentation could not have been
bettered.

of nice type but I would prefer more cheek, nicely
crested neck, level topline and well set tail, very
good angulation with nice feet and good bone, presented
in full coat and condition, moved well.
