Our Dogs

2006 was an exciting year for Danti Akitas. Not only did we do well in the show ring here in the UK we also exported our first babies to Norway. Exporting was never really an idea we wished to think about but having verbal contact with Roger Pettersen for a number of months decided we would invite him into our home. Along with Roger came another Akita lover from Norway, Linn Hanssen. We would never have thought this meeting would evolve into a very close friendship. We couldn’t have wished for better homes for our babies. Roger is the proud owner of Seth and Linn the proud owner of Kayla. Both hit the Norwegian Show Ring with a bang taking Best of Breed against adult Akitas. Seth & Kayla will have a exciting 2007, we are sure, and wish both Roger and Linn all the success in the world with them. We shall be travelling to Norway late in 2007 to handle in a Top International Show, which we are very much looking forward too.

Seth’s owner “Roger Pettersen”

From everyone who loves Akitas in Scandinavia owe Danti Akitas a thank you for allowing us to bring over such a high quality “own produced” Akita puppy from UK to Norway. Danti I`m All That, or Seth as we call him, seem to have all the qualities we need to raise the standard one more level in Norway. At the tender age of 10 months, he has become BOB Puppy two times, out off two shows. He has grown up to be a heavy boned young man with great movements. Probably the most powerful and beautiful 10 months old Akita I`ve ever seen up here. He spends every day with his family as a pet. He just loves children and people. Those who meet Seth often say “He has the same expression as a black Grizzly bear, but as friendly as a teddy bear”. This year will be very exciting for Seth. He will be matched against the best show Akita’s in Scandinavia, at different places in Scandinavia. If his results turn out the way we think they will, we would love to bring him home to show at Crufts 2008 and surprise everyone in his motherland too.
